Risk of death based on Age, Health Conditions and Gender from COVID-19

If you're at high risk of getting seriously ill from coronavirus, there are extra things you should do to avoid catching it. These include not leaving your home ("you should not go out to do shopping, pick up medicine or exercise") and stay at least 2 metres away from other people in your home as much as possible.

Case death rate of COVID-19 by age

The case death rate (CDR) is calculated by dividing the total number of deaths from the coronavirus by the number of confirmed cases (number of deaths / number of cases) gives the probability of dying if infected by the virus (%).

Case death rate of COVID-19 by health conditions

The case death rate (CDR) is calculated by dividing the total number of deaths from the coronavirus by the number of confirmed cases (number of deaths / number of cases) gives the probability of dying if infected by the virus (%).

Case death rate of COVID-19 by gender

The case death rate (CDR) is calculated by dividing the total number of deaths from the coronavirus by the number of confirmed cases (number of deaths / number of cases) gives the probability of dying if infected by the virus (%).

Case death rate of Seasonal flu vs COVID-19

The case death rate (CDR) is calculated by dividing the total number of deaths from the coronavirus or seasonal flu by the number of confirmed cases (number of deaths / number of cases) gives the probability of dying if infected by a virus (%).
